Cynthia V Davis Founder and CEO

A senior executive leader with over 20+ years’ hands-on recruitment experience at senior level across multiple sectors, Cynthia is ideally placed to identify diverse talent as well as understanding the barriers that make an authentic recruitment process impossible to achieve using traditional recruitment processes. She has worked within and recruited for some of the best known corporate, public, private and third sector organisations for Senior Executive positions up to Board Level. Cynthia has sat on executive recruitment panels as an independent advisor to help facilitate an unbiased recruitment process. She has vast experience of recruiting for senior level appointments up to C-Suite.

Luke Robert Davis COO

Luke is an experienced Talent Acquisition Expert who has worked in a range of agency, recruitment process outsourcing and internal recruitment roles.

Starting his career in Tech recruitment back in 2000, Luke has over 20 years’ recruitment experience that includes exec hiring and running recruitment services for the likes of Apple, Booking.com, Deutsche Bank, PwC, Protiviti, M&G Investments and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Andrew Brown Head of Talent Acquisition

With over 20 years executive recruitment, selection and assessment experience, Andrew has a track record of delivering ‘high-touch’ assignments in complex, fast moving organisations within the Private, Public and Beyond-Profit sectors.

Andrew has recruited at all levels from high potential and emerging talent to executive senior management, directors, CEO’s and trustees. Andrew has delivered recruitment services to a wide breadth of clients across multiple sectors including insurance, private equity, manufacturing, transport, utilities as well as NHS Trusts, government departments, national and niche charities.

With a focus on assisting clients to synchronize their strategy and talent, Andrew is passionate about helping organisations broaden their diversity and inclusion enabling them to make a positive social impact.

Caroline Gibson Head of Talent Operations

Caroline is an experienced senior recruitment partner with a 12-year track record of delivering successful recruitment campaigns across a number of sectors. She has proven ability to recruit at all levels and is able to quickly build robust relationships based on trust and confidence with both clients and candidates alike.

Caroline has the ability to deliver senior executive recruitment campaigns to meet a client’s specific needs and especially on very niche and complex roles.

Caroline has extensive recruitment knowledge in various industry sectors including engineering, manufacturing, finance, retail, sales, marketing and telecommunications.

Oliver Gilbody Head of Marketing & Events

Oliver has thirteen years’ experience working to improve the choices, health and well-being of people, often from diverse and marginalised communities. He has set up several local and pan-London health and well-being services and campaigns for LGBTQ+ and Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities. Previously he was the Deputy Chief Executive of the health and well-being organisation, Spectra and is now a Trustee of the charity.

More recently Oliver worked for a luxury bespoke tailoring house on Savile Row as their Business & Operations Manager and is passionate about providing excellent customer service to the clients and candidates he works with.

In his spare time Oliver volunteers as the Artistic Director of The Pink Singers, Europe’s longest-running LGBT+ choir.

Paula Arnold Head of D&I Consulting and Partnerships

Paula is an end to end talent management specialist with the strategic and leadership experience to help organisations drive change. From small tech start-ups to global multilateral development banks, Paula's sector experience is broad.

She has helped to build internal networks for underrepresented groups in the workplace to create the platform for voices to be heard and partnerships to develop.

Paula has experience in talent acquisition, talent development, engagement and succession planning, ensuring D&I is embedded into all of the respective processes and policies to ensure fairness and transparency.

Enny Dorcas Muyambuki Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

Enny is an experienced senior recruitment consultant with over eight year’s experience. She has worked within several sectors including Healthcare, Education, and 3rd Sector organisations. She has developed the ability to quickly grasp an individual’s skill set and determine where they are best placed across a variety of sectors. Enny has invaluable skills and has maintained strong effective working relationships with stakeholders and candidates at all levels.

Enny is also a Registered Nurse and has a passion for healthcare, as well as equality and diversity. She has a specialist working knowledge of how recruitment processes and strategies work within both public and private sector healthcare providers.

Enny is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for Cultures & Behaviours, Diversity & Inclusion, and Cultural Transformation. Miguel De Palma Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

Miguel has five years’ experience working in the civic and social organisation industry. Previously he assessed and recruited volunteer managers for Raleigh International expeditions, having volunteered himself for three months in Tanzania.

More recently Miguel worked for Shaw Trust, recruiting and training volunteer business mentors to support the New Enterprise Allowance programme. Miguel firmly believes in equality of opportunity. He is passionate about the potential of youth and the empowerment of individuals to find meaning in adversity. Miguel holds a BA (Hons) English Literature & Culture from Hull University as well as a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. His spare time is dedicated to literature, film and theatre.

Rebecca Davy Talent Lead (Boards)

Rebecca has spent over eight years in the recruitment industry working across a variety of sectors including Finance & Accountancy, Editorial & Design, Sales, Operational Risk and most recently Legal professionals from Company Secretaries to General Counsels.

She prides herself on her ability to nurture good relationships quickly along with her strong background as a researcher in executive search, which has equipped her with a skillset that helps her to easily adapt to different assignments, as well as instilled the belief that a thorough methodology is key to ensuring the success for every mandate.

Rebecca holds a BA (Hons) History and American Studies from Plymouth University.

In her spare time, she is on the Board of Governors for her son’s school where she can focus her passion for equal opportunities into ensuring that a culture of Diversity and Inclusion is instilled and promoted from an early age. She also has a keen interest in behavioural science and enjoys watching old movies and listening to Jazz.

Denise Kawooya Talent Acquisition Consultant

Denise is an experienced recruitment consultant who has recruited a number of positions within finance and accounting, sales, administration and customer service all ranging from entry level to senior/director level positions.

She completed her BSc (Hons) Psychology degree at the University of Portsmouth.

Denise is passionate about creating a positive social impact and has previously volunteered in her community with a local youth offending team which aimed to guide young people back into the community and reduce their chances of reoffending.

Denise also has a strong passion for developing diverse and inclusive organisations and believes that everyone should have an equal opportunity when building a successful career. In her spare time, Denise enjoys listening to music, attending concerts and festivals as well as volunteering within the community.

Emmanuel Crosser Talent Acquisition Consultant

Emmanuel is an accomplished recruitment consultant with over 4 years’ experience. He has worked within a diverse range of sectors including Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Marine, Shipbuilding and others. One of Emmanuel’s key strengths is being able to successfully develop and maintain client and candidate relationships at all levels.

Emmanuel completed his BSc (Hons) Event Management degree at Southampton Solent University.

Phil is a dedicated community leader and passionate D&I Consultant who has recently joined our team.

An engaging communicator, Phil has a natural empathetic delivery style that makes him an effective presentation facilitator and consultant on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and behaviour change. His authentic and candid approach helps create safe environments for open sharing and growth.

Phil is committed to supporting businesses and organisations in their endeavours to becoming more representative of the diverse society we live in.

Ben Musgrave D&I Consultant

Ben has 14 years’ experience of driving Equality, Diversity and inclusion (E, D&I) initiatives across the Start-up, NGO and Public Sectors in Europe, Africa and Asia, with a particular focus on rights-based programming.

As a qualified coach and experienced facilitator, Ben utilises participatory methodologies to work collaboratively with others to create positive change.

Aside from his passion for E, D&I, Ben excels at getting injured whilst playing sports, collects Comics and sings badly in the shower.

Neil Millett Recruitment Marketing Consultant

Neil has over nine years’ experience working in online recruitment advertising. He specialises in helping connect hiring organisations with job-seeking talent through advertising, communications and data-led storytelling.

Joining Diversifying and BAME Recruitment in 2021, Neil is driven to help companies who champion diversity & inclusion reach an audience seeking a purpose-led career. Outside of work Neil; crafts, designs, collects & consumes.

Naomi Hanson Marketing Executive

Pronouns: She/Her/They

Naomi has over three years’ experience in content creation and social media. Naomi is a creative individual with unique ideas and drive for communications. A recent graduate from the University of Leeds, Master of Advertising and Marketing, she has led several reports and projects, including a consultancy project on marketing towards international students with Leeds Bradford Airport.

Naomi is passionate about using marketing as a vehicle for promoting social change. In addition, she is a motivated self-starter, as shown by the creation of her own social media platform 'The here and Nao'. She has dedicated her time to running and promoting diversity, inclusion and advocacy for adoptee voices. This advocacy led to her being nominated as an 'Inspirational Asian Woman' by Resonate Voices, alongside other Asian women such as Gemma Chan and Katie Leung.

Naomi studied Linguistics for undergraduate and is a keen language learner, speaking English, French, Spanish, and beginner’s mandarin. Naomi aspires to become a polyglot. In her free time, she enjoys creating videos, letter writing and exploring new cuisines.

Cressida Wyer PA to CEO / Marketing Executive

Cressida is a highly organised and dedicated individual who excels at managing schedules and supporting a team. She is a recent graduate of English Literature at Queen Mary University of London and is passionate about using her English skills to make a difference within a company.

Having previously provided administrative support to an interior design office, Cressida has excellent people skills and is experienced in maintaining and advocating for a friendly and inclusive work culture. She strongly believes in creating diverse and inclusive workspaces.

As an English graduate, Cressida is an avid reader of predominantly novels. Cressida also enjoys visiting art exhibitions around London and watching films, both new releases and classics.

Eddie Kaziro Customer Success Assistant

Eddie has a broad and varied career history. Up until 2015 he worked within the entertainment industry. Between contracts, he gained extensive work experience in customer service having worked in luxury retail, hospitality and project administration.

Eddie recently completed a masters in Contemporary Culture at the University of York where he developed a keen interest in historical and political discourse surrounding racial relations. Through this, he developed strong research and organisational skills. Whilst at university, Eddie also dabbled in journalism and was headhunted to apply for Editor of ‘The Yorker.’

Now part of the BAME family, Eddie is responsible for assessing and monitoring our customer experience. In his spare time Eddie enjoys music, books and takeout.

Almaas Bokhari Customer Success Assistant

Almaas is passionate about providing the best experiences they can for clients and has had a successful career in customer success spanning numerous industries prior to joining the team. Having worked in the charity, public, and private sectors, they are adept at providing assistance in varying settings, and after spending 3 years as an NHS Health Advisor they thrive when doing this under considerable pressure.

Achieving both a BA(hons) in Sociology from Middlesex University and an MSc in Social & Cultural Theory from The University of Bristol, diversity, inclusion, and equality are not just a vocation for Almaas but a life’s calling. They have dedicated their academic journey to understanding interrelations between identity and marginalisation, with a particular focus upon intersectionality, and as such they can confidently understand the barriers to fair and equitable treatment faced by an array of groups.

Trish Driver Consultancy Partner

Trish is a Diversity and Inclusion and Culture Change Strategist with over 15 years’ experience through the end to end talent management cycle. She has worked with organisations as diverse as Capgemini, Salesforce, Audible, NTT Data and Bauer Media, both in-house, and as a consultant, designing and implementing inclusive talent management practices and driving true culture change. She is a qualified coach, and her collaborative style means that she works in true partnership with all of her consultancy clients to create impactful outcomes for their businesses.

Trish is the Founder and CEO of A New Normal Ltd, a diversity and inclusion consultancy, founded to drive social change through impacting the world of business. Her goals are to support businesses, academic organisations and not for profits in achieving sustainable cultural change around inclusion and diversity. The business is founded on the pillars of passion for her subject, genuine expertise, creative problem solving and authenticity. She’s a coach, mentor, and keynote speaker on diversity, inclusion and bias.

Petunia Thomas Consultancy Partner

As a D&I expert, Petunia provides advice and consultancy to clients on a range of D&I themes and challenges to promote strategic and coherent approaches and sustainable outcomes. She facilitates unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, cultural competency workshops as well as women’s career development programmes, and is an expert on reverse and reciprocal/mutual mentoring.

She also delivers support on race and ethnicity, and has provided specialist support for the CIPD, the largest and foremost body of HR professionals in the UK, with anti-racism resources particularly around black lives in the workplace. Donna is an award-winning professional services executive & mentor, School Governor, Career Coach, Consultant and advisor. Donna is passionate about developing other people by mentoring and coaching and has won the First Woman Mentor of the Year award in 2017.

Donna has over 35 years’ experience as a management consultant and as an Executive having worked for and with both UK and overseas Public and Private Sector organisations. She specialises in helping clients realise the business benefits from transforming their business via technology and embedding diversity and inclusion as a strategic imperative. The major senior roles in her career have been at the London Borough of Lambeth, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, IBM and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she acquired strategic, financial, commercial, operational, change management and people development expertise.

Donna was previously IBM’s Executive Partner Chair of the UK&I Ethnicity Leadership Team, focused on the attraction, retention, progression and promotion of ethnic talent throughout the organisation. Key successes included, a three-year leadership development programme, commended by Business in the Community for its relentless focus on developing underrepresented diverse talent. She was also a member of IBM’s UK&I D&I council, and reverse mentored two Senior Executives from IBM’s UK & I Board.

Founder and Chief Executive of KAMAKA, with over 25 years as an Executive Coach, Speaker and Leadership and Diversity Consultant, Marcia is the designer and facilitator of Three framework for Leadership Identity, organisational cultural change and behavioural transformation, with three core elements – Personal Identity; Social Identity and Cultural Identity.

Marcia is passionate about leadership development and provides support, training and coaching that empowers individuals and enables organisations to adapt to a changing world and to be a progressive force. Her specialisms are inclusive leadership; cultural change, inclusion, diversity, well-being and engagement.

With a career spanning Education; Business and International Development, she is a champion for inclusion, children and women’s rights and her expertise and experience includes extensive work coaching women, mentoring Black, Asian and minority ethnic women in business, mentoring young leaders and mentoring LGBT+ refugees in business. She has served as an executive director for an International Development Agency, served as a school governor, developed a mentoring programme for Looked After Children and established two advisory centres for women. 

Marcia is a Fellow with the Chartered Management Institute and a Cheri Blair Foundation Mentor alumnus.
