With over eighteen years’ hands-on recruitment experience at senior level and a BAME background, Cynthia is ideally placed to identify diverse talent as well as understanding the barriers that make an authentic recruitment process impossible to achieve using traditional recruitment processes. She has worked within and recruited for some of the best known corporate, public, private and third sector organisations for Senior Executive positions up to Board Level. Cynthia has sat on executive recruitment panels as an independent advisor to help facilitate an unbiased recruitment process. She has vast experience of recruiting for senior level appointments within Charitable organisations.
Cynthia strives to create a positive impact from diversity and inclusion initiatives and has personally written articles for the Voice Newspaper and LGBT History Month and Black History Month on the topic.
BAME Recruitment is a Brand Partner of Women in the City, working with them to empower the next generation of female leaders across all sectors of employment. In addition, Cynthia is on the judging panel of the Future Leaders Award Symposium, a movement that identifies and highlights the careers of women who work in the City, a cause that is very dear to her heart. Cynthia is also a Judge for the prestigious Recruitment Awards.
Cynthia is a mentor to young adults and 11-18 year-olds via the Stephen Lawrence Trust Mentorship Programme. She is a public speaker committed to improving equal opportunities for people from all walks of life by encouraging and motivating the next generation of leaders. Cynthia is determined not to allow perceived obstacles stand in their way.
A fellow of St Georges College Leadership Fellowship in Windsor, Cynthia is also Chair of the Board for Pop Up, a social enterprise that focuses on creating a society where reading, writing and storytelling are widely valued, enjoyed, practiced and celebrated. They work in collaboration with educational, literary and cultural organisations to enable children, empower teachers, and engage families from all walks of life to read more widely, write more creatively, and develop visual storytelling skills.

Chico is a strategic thinker with Senior Leadership success across the Insurance and Health Sectors. With a broad range of experience from over 10 years spent in global leadership roles in multinational organisations, across Commercial, Strategy, Market Expansion and Partnerships, Chico is experienced in leading multi-million pound projects across a range of programme objectives increasing revenue by over $150m.
As a member of the LGBTI community as well as being from an ethnic minority, Chico has always been a passionate advocate for celebrating and recognising diversity in the work place. He created several informal networks for people from diverse backgrounds including ensuring that the business was aware of culturally global holidays and creating an LGBTI network at a Business Unit level of Bupa, a global insurance company, that was praised by the MD of the time for taking the initiative to build a better Bupa. Most recently, Chico was selected to participate in RAHM, the first global contest for LGBTI leaders where he entered the final top 10 as voted by both peers and jurors of the competition.
Luke is an experienced Talent Acquisition Expert who has worked in a range of agency, recruitment process outsourcing and internal recruitment roles. Starting his career in Tech recruitment back in 2000, Luke has over 18 years’ recruitment experience that includes building and running outsourced recruitment services for the likes of Deutsche Bank, PwC, M&G Investments and the Financial Ombudsman Service. Luke is currently the Head of Growth for Elements Talent Solutions helping to solve some of the biggest hiring challenges for Tech organisations like Spotify, King, Improbable, JustEat, iZettle and Farfetch. As Chairman of BAME Recruitment, Luke acts in an advisory capacity helping to support our work in driving Social Change and creating a level playing field for all. Caroline is an experienced senior recruitment partner with a 12-year track record of delivering successful recruitment campaigns across a number of sectors. She has proven ability to recruit at all levels and is able to quickly build robust relationships based on trust and confidence with both clients and candidates alike.
Caroline has the ability to deliver senior executive recruitment campaigns to meet a client’s specific needs and especially on very niche and complex roles.

Andrew has recruited at all levels from high potential and emerging talent to executive senior management, directors, CEO’s and trustees. Andrew has delivered recruitment services to a wide breadth of clients across multiple sectors including insurance, private equity, manufacturing, transport, utilities as well as NHS Trusts, government departments, national and niche charities.
With a focus on assisting clients to synchronize their strategy and talent, Andrew is passionate about helping organisations broaden their diversity and inclusion enabling them to make a positive social impact.
Oliver has thirteen years’ experience working to improve the choices, health and well-being of people, often from diverse and marginalised communities. He has set up several local and pan-London health and well-being services for LGBT+ and BAME communities. Previously he was the Deputy Chief Executive of the health and well-being organisation, Spectra and is now a Trustee of the charity.
More recently Oliver worked for a luxury bespoke tailoring house on Savile Row as their Business & Operations Manager and is passionate about providing excellent customer service to the clients and candidates he works with.
In his spare time Oliver volunteers as the Artistic Director of The Pink Singers, Europe’s longest-running LGBT+ choir.

Founder and Chief Executive of KAMAKA, with over 25 years as an Executive Coach, Speaker and Leadership and Diversity Consultant. She is the designer and facilitator of Three framework for Leadership Identity, organisational cultural change and behavioural transformation, with three core elements – Personal Identity; Social Identity and Cultural Identity.
Marcia is passionate about leadership development, diversity and inclusion and with more than 25 years in leadership, mentoring and talent professional development she provides support, training and coaching that empowers individuals and enables organisations to adapt to a changing world and to be a progressive force. Her specialisms are inclusive leadership; cultural change, inclusion, diversity, well-being and engagement.
With a career spanning Education; Business and International Development, she is a champion for inclusion, children and women’s rights and her expertise and experience includes extensive work coaching women, mentoring BAME women in business, mentoring young leaders and mentoring LGBT refugees in business. She has served as an executive director for an International Development Agency, served as a school governor, developed a mentoring programme for Looked After Children and establishing two advisory centres for women.
She is a Fellow with the Chartered Management Institute and a Cheri Blair Foundation Mentor alumnus.
