An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a leading charity as Marketing Lead ( Fixed Term). You will become part of a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team, in this organisation based in London.

The Marketing Lead will work closely with the Creative Lead - in developing a marketing strategy for the campaign.

Key Accountabilities / Objectives

  • To develop a marketing strategy for the campaign by working with the Head of Communications, Head of Brand and the Head of Audience Insights.
  • To work with the Audience Insights team in using audience insight to develop plans and strategies that meet audience needs
  • To develop an approach that will ensure that the over-arching campaign in line with our brand strategy is met in a cost-effective way by working effectively with channel experts to get input.
  • To Identify required resources and expertise to deliver against the charities objectives from a marketing perspective
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues in the Brand and Creative, Commercial and Partnerships teams to provide expertise around maximising the impact of charities projects by using marketing insights
  • Monitor marketing activity and output and respond to opportunities or gaps in marketing plans
  • To Manage the delivery of standalone marketing activities that are needed to support the overall  charities campaign objectives, for example, the development of specific advertising campaigns or trails
  • To build a network of trusted and cost-effective thought-partners and advisers to provide appropriate external support & challenge

Essential Education and Skills

  • Experience of leading major marketing activities, teams or projects for a high profile brand
  • Experience of managing within a matrix of channel experts and multi-disciplined marketing leads
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholder relationships and balancing conflicting demands

  • Exceptional networking, negotiating, influencing and persuading skills.
  • Think strategically and be able to evaluate decisions in the short, medium and long-term.
  • Effective Communication skills, written and oral – including strong presentation skills
  • Building and sustaining effective working relationships both internally and externally.
